High Times, one of the oldest and most established brands in the cannabis space, is sponsoring a contest. The High Times Cannabis Cup Illinois: People’s Choice Edition is the first ever competition in this space. Its goal is to identify and award the best Illinois cannabis products across a wide range of categories. This event will be open to the Illinois public and will have the largest pool of judges to date. The best products will win. And again, this is the first-ever High Times Cannabis Cup competition in Illinois. So, wanna be an Illinois Cannabis Cup Judge?
Wait, so what are the Illinois Cannabis Cup competition categories?
There’s 8 different categories so far. Judges will have the opportunity to sample products from various categories. Here they are:
1. Indica Flower
2. Sativa Flower
3. Hybrid Flower
5. Non-Solvent Concentrates
6. Solvent Concentrates
7. Vape Pens & Cartridges
Sounds awesome. So how do I become an Illinois Cannabis Cup judge?
If you’re a medical patient over 18, or an adult user over 21, you can apply to be a judge. You can fill out a short application here. You’ll answer a few short questions, including where you like to be a judge, and in which categories.
Once you sign up, kits are ready for pickup starting on August 25th at the following locations:

You have until midnight on Wednesday, September 23 to submit all scores. Please note: judging slots are limited, and you have to sign up in advance, so do this asap if you’re interested.
