Even though we’re still in the throes of winter, it’s time to plan for spring and onward. There’s some fun events to learn more about and possibly put on your calendar. While a few are more like trade shows, they still have a lot to offer to consumers and enthusiasts. Here’s new 420 fests and expos in Illinois in 2022:
This two day festival / trade show is coming to Chicago in April. Held at the Ravenswood Event Center, you can stop in on the 9th and 10th for a celebration of community, cannabis, and competition. With over 50 vendors and exhibitors from around the country, you can get a $30 weekend pass with discounted lodging available. More info here.
WI Cannabis Expo
Yes, this one is not Illinois, but it’s in Milwaukee, a mere 90 miles north of Chicago over the Wisconsin state line. This expo is on Saturday, March 12th from 10am-4pm. Learn more about the cannabis, CBD, and hemp industries, with speakers and exhibitors, and sample products. Ought to be interesting given Wisconsin’s laws. Tickets range from $10-$35, more info here.
A convention focusing solely on the Illinois cannabis market, it’s coming back to Chicago’s McCormick Place June 10th and 11th. You can visit the Exhibit Hall which opens at 10am both days, runs till 4pm Saturday. Check out new companies, brands and product lines. If you’re in the business, you can also see the latest in equipment, lighting, nutrients, greenhouses, supplies, tools, and workshops. Tickets range from $40-$70. Check out details here.
More of a B2B conference, this expo is taking place in Rosemont, August 26th-27th. Attendees can meet industry entrepreneurs, farmers, distributors, equipment specialists, and more. The event will run from 10am to 5pm both days, and as of this writing you can get early bird pricing. Get the details including how to register here.
We’ll have more events and trends to share as we get closer to the end of of winter and things ramping back up to normal again. While we’re not looking at a federal legalization world yet, we’re soon to look at one in which we’re learning to live with Covid. And that means getting back out there and resuming events full force. We will bring you details and updates as we get them. Be sure to check back often.
